About the Author: David is the New Media Manager and Culture Editor at 69 Towers. Easily distracted by shiny things David keeps himself busy by staring at a variety of screens. Musical tastes includes anything that has a woman singing over some kind of 80's inspired elctro beat and men who sound like women singing over an 80's elctro beat. The current thing that makes me sad is that the 90's is now retro. Currently on the hunt for shoes that look good with a pair of brown bootcut trousers. You can contact David at david@69-247.com.

  • Im not really a horror girl (blood gore eekk) more of a psychological/thriller suspense fan. The Shining is v overated, and continuing with the Stephen King theme I suppose I have to say Carrie. That hand at the end-*screams* A decent book to film adaptation and as a slightly misunderstood schoolgirl I wanted her powers. According to certain folk in the office I do indeed possess them. I am not even pretending.
  • With out a doubt Scream is my favourite, perfect mix of horror and comedy with out too much gore. Shame they got crappier as the series went on.

For me, I think it'd have to be Final Destination - love the girl getting hit by the bus. Genius. Or maybe it's The Exorcist - although saw it first in Stoke so not sure if that terrified me more than the film itself. U?
