Dance Of The Undead Is Surprisingly Life-Affirming!

Déda in Derby is proud to announce that The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs, two of the country’s leading contemporary dance companies, will be performing on Thursday 11 February at 8pm.
Dancing On Your Grave is morbid music-hall spectacular where the audience join a five-piece dancing troupe of undead vaudeville artistes – The Corpse de Ballet – on their purgatorial tour. Stuck on stage, the performers are destined to be eternally trapped in a hellish limbo.
With gruesomely witty lyrics, marvelously macabre songs and live music, Dancing On Your Grave is a surprisingly life-affirming performance.
The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs have performed internationally at venues large and small, with more unusual locations including the Glastonbury Festival, various beaches around the world, and in cars and lifts.
Suitable for ages 14+, Dancing On Your Grave is a darkly comic performance with a real message: make the most of living, because you’re a long time dead!
Tickets cost £12 (£10 Concessions), available from Déda Box Office on 01332 370911.
