Leicester Comedy Festival: Dinosaur Planet

Sixty five million years ago the dinosaurs disappeared.. And now they’re back through some kind of divine miracle!
One-man rock opera, Dinosaur Planet, has been described as ‘like Jeff Wayne’s War Of The Worlds, except with more dinosaurs, more jokes and a better ending’.
Performer, local indie legend MJ Hibbett has been touring the country with Dinosaur Planet since he performed it at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, and is to perform the show at this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival.
There will be a lot of new songs to enjoy, including Here Comes The Dinosaurs, Please Don’t Eat Us and, of course, Theme From Dinosaur Planet. Performances will be taking place in Leicester for two nights at The Criterion on Millstone Lane.
MJ Hibbett has already performed on Radio 1 and had a Record Of The Year with This Is Not A Library in Rolling Stone in 2003. Last year MJ sold out two nights of his autobiographical show My Exciting Life In ROCK and tickets are already selling fast for Dinosaur Planet. Those able to attend are guaranteed an evening of excitement, explosions, enthusiasm and some extremely catchy tunes!
Dates for Dinosaur Planet are Friday 12th and Saturday 13th February and doors open at 8pm, with the show scheduled to start at 9pm. Tickets cost between £4 and £5.
