Don’t get your knickers in a twist
Men look away now this one is strictly for ladies eyes only!
Right back to business…
A new invention called Femmecup, a reusable menstrual cup has been created to cancel out the dangers of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS).
The soft cup is an alternative to tampons and forms a gentle seal with the vagina walls catching the menstrual flow rather than absorbing it. It can be worn for up to 12 hours and only needs to be emptied twice a day, washing it with water before re-inserting.
Femmecup is supporting the fast approaching National Tampon Alert Week (7th-12th June) by also giving away a hand-stitched knickers shaped bag with every purchase of the cup.
During the week the health conscious people at the tampon factories will be raising awareness of the dangers of TSS.
Each year the UK loses around 3 people to Toxic Shock Syndrome related to the use of tampons. The Femmecup is seen as a healthier option, eco-friendly and cost effective…what more could you ask for?
Femmecup is available from thousands of pharmacies up and down the country and online at www.femmecup.com from £16.99.
